This morning Steve and I had our 22 week anatomy scan. No, a 22-week anatomy scan is not normal. Yes, we were two weeks late in making this appointment. (and yes, the hospital yelled at us. Oops.)
Nonetheless, our Jelly Bean earned a perfect score -- the doctor said everything looks good. She's one pound, 2 ounces and growing at the correct speed for her age.
The technician said she's "a mover" -- which is why I can now feel kicks constantly! But she's still stubborn, and everyone at the hospital knows it! We were tended to by a different technician who walked in and said, "How's the little troublemaker?" We are very concerned that we broke the previous technician, who we imagine just couldn't face Jelly Bean one more time.
And wouldn't you know it, it took a loooong time to get all her pictures taken, because she doesn't like to be told what to do! (AH!)
Below are pics of Our Jelly Bean and...is that a pointy nose??
We're trying to decide which of us is a descendant of a Dr. Seuss Character...
Any resemblance?
Snuggled up.
Her big foot kicking Mommy!
Sayin' hi!
For the record, our technician said, "What a cuuute baby!", to which Steve replied, "Does that translate to real life?" Will we be raising a resident of Whoville??
